Please remember to not use chat/SMS speak on the forums.

Not only is it unsightly and difficult to read, we also have members from all over the world who may find it difficult to read SMS-speak not in their native language.

An example of chat/SMS speak is the following:

Of course, common acronyms such as "lol", "rofl", "lmao" etc. are allowed! Just don't use chat speak in entire sentences.

Some things to take note of:

-When opening a new topic, please do so with proper capitalisation. Don't use all lowercase letters, and don't punctuate at the end of the topic title. HOWEVER, don't use all capital letters in your topic titles or posts.

Eg.

Good:

What Did You Have for Breakfast?

Bad:

Quote:

thread for talking about breakfast. WHAT DID YOU HAVE FOR BREAKFAST?

It just looks nicer and tidier I've noticed the lack of capitalisation in topic titles a lot lately. Doesn't take much effort to use the Shift key, but it makes all the difference when people are trying to decipher posts.

-The same applies to content of a post - please try and make sure it's punctuated and capitalised properly.

-No text talk/SMS-speak. This hasn't really been a problem but just thought I'd add a reminder

Obviously I'm not asking everyone to be perfect all the time, but just try and take a bit of care so everything looks that much more aesthetically pleasing XD
