So I know this was being discussed a bit in the movie thread but I thought I'd open a poll/discussion here for just the Hermione/Harry dancing scene.
Personally, I thought the scene was well done and was a nice addition to the movies. Though I can see where some people might say it was too intimate, the purpose, in my opinion, was to show one friend cheering the other up while also showing the possibility of what could have happened between Harry and Hermione, because they did, after all, go through things together than Ron didn't.
I think it was in Amber's siggy that she had a quote from J.K. Rowling about just this: "Now the fact is that Hermione shares moments with Harry that Ron will never be able to participate in. He walked out. She shared something very intense with Harry. So I think it could have gone that way."
So I thought this scene was an amazing addition and I don't think it makes it look like Harry's debating between Hermione and Ginny or anything.
As for the song choice, I
loved O' Children by Nick Cave. It was perfect for the scene. It fit the bittersweet feeling of the scene perfectly. For once you get to see Harry and Hermione let go and act like children for a bit, something none of them have ever really been able to do, especially Harry. Now I'm obsessed with this song and can't stop listening to it! Ahhhh!

Anyway, I think this is my favorite scene from the whole movie. It was so well done; Emma and Dan did a great job.
