For this creative writing class I would like you to create 4 Harry Potter limericks. Each Limerick must be about a different character/item/place among the Harry Potter Books.

This Class is worth 100 points (25 per limerick)

For example:

There once was an evil potions master,
Who loved to eat tomato pasta,
one day it was off,
he let out a cough,
and died just a little bit faster.

I'm sure you can do better then that =] just an example though.

Cheeky chappies George and Fred,
Took a potion to become forge and gred,
They got drunk in a bar,
Angered their ma’
And ended up deady dead dead.

ok first off these are horrible and also the limerick about potter is even worse since i personally do not think potter is hot but i could only think of hotter to rhyme with potter

LUCIUS MALFOY

When Lucius Malfoy is near,
he is always wearining his sneer
If you are below him he turns up his nose,
he is pure evil from his head to his toes,
he's a Death Eater and one you should fear.

Death Eater

Faithful servants of the Dark Lord,
Death Eater's are evil to their word,
illegal curses they cast,
if you are hit with one you will not last,
you could end up in the St. Mungo's ward.

Peeves

Peeves is a ghost that we all know,
he has bothered Harry, Ron and Cho,
ink bottles go flying,
the first years are crying,
and Flitch yells to them "look out below!"

Voldemort

Most fear to even speak his name,
pure evil and torture are his game,
avada kedavra, imperio and crucio,
are curses that he very well knows,
he is powerful but quite insane.

Harry Potter

That Potter kid, what's his name,
he's wandering around school, what's his game,
he's tricking students
and he's never been prudent,
at least he's not a chaser, he's got horrible aim!

Oliver Wood,

Wizzing away high around,
his feet hardly hitting the ground,
He's saving goals
he's hot like coals
So humble not making a sound,

Magic

Casting a spell,
you may be expell,
Better than a curse
that sends you to the nurse
at least it's not like hell

Hagrid

A big black beard,
he's drving a strage herd,
he's really quite humble,
like a baby bumble,
and he's always saying a word.

Okay they're terrible, oh well

There once was a boy with a scar
His home from Hogwarts was quite far
He got on the train
Then felt a great pain
Ate lots of chocolate to feel up to par



There once was a girl with big hair
Though she didn't really care
She studied her books
Despite all the looks
Read the lot then asked for a spare


Hermione's got a very hairy cat
She was accused of eating a rat
The face of a pig
In the dirt she does dig
Ron always says she is a brat

Sirius is a very handsome man
Spent 13 years in Azkaban
Some say he's mad
Lonely years he's had
If anyone can cheer him up I can!

I can speak Pareltongue

Which means I can roll my tongue

Or I'll feed on your little friend

I am indeed the Basilisk

On a cold chilly night
Hagrid put up a fight
to bring back a boy
who may bring back some joy
to the wizards world as one

A potion had to be drank
to pull off a certain prank
to a man name slug
so we can connect the plug
As to what was heard by riddle

Dumbledore had a certain belief
to which cause him many grief
yet turth was on his side
The ministry had lied
to only convey what was truth at the end

Many came to see
what only one can be
a triwizard champion
which is played with a passion
though eneded in death

(Lol I thought we needed to write five and then I couldn't decide which to cut, so disregard one XD)

One day Maxime went for a walk
She met a witch and they started to talk
Little did she know
That the witch was her foe
And the witch had talons like a hawk.

Hagrid woke up late one day
And decided to celebrate May
He worked for hours and hours
Planting enchanted flowers
But he couldn't convince them to stay.

Harry's anger was great
When he realized his horrible fate
His fist crashed on the table
He yelled as loud as he was able
And then he had no choice but to wait.

Dumbledore stood calmly in the hall
And waited till it was nightfall
Then he rushed to the wing
Where Harry and Hermione were staying
And finally he confessed all.

An owl sped over the trees
She was terribly afraid she would freeze
At last she saw the tower
Though it had taken her an hour
She cruised inside on a breeze.

There once was a witch named cho
Whose broomstick was flying too slow
And try as she might
It just wouldn’t take flight
so she called AAA for a tow.


There was a great wizard named dumbledore
Who wont be doing magic anymore
Because Snape told a lie
And caused him to die
Now we all have something to hate him for.

There once was a wizard named Harry
Many things in his life were scary
His dormmates he scared
With screams from his nightmares
Now of him his friends are quite wary.

Harry Potter's best friend was named Ron
Whose hair was getting quite long
Which his mom tried to slice
With a large butcher knife
But ended up using her wand.

Harry's uncle was Sirius Black
Whom the bad guys tried to attack
He fell through the veil
Harry started to wail
Cause he's gone and might never come back.

Hermione Granger's
past couldn't be stranger,
though her parnets are Muggles,
in Hogwarts she never struggles,
She is Hermione Granger.

The twins of Fred and George,
On food they like to gorge,
They play tricks and jokes,
Two awesome blokes,
Funny Fred and George.
