Oddie walked out into the stands carrying her broom along with a crate witht he four balls in it. Oddie decided to wait to see if there would be anyone else joining before she satrted partice, so she went over and ssat in the stands carning her neck trying to see if there was anyone else whom might be coiming to pratice too.

Chris walked into the quiditch feild. He had never played the sport but loved to see the game in play. Chris sat down in a seat and looked at the feild with no one on it.

After waiting for waht seemed like hours, Oddie saw Chris enter. Oddie walked over to Chris and said "Hey, whats up? Planing on playing quddith?"

"No, I don't want to play, I just like to watch. It's very interesting. So are you going to play?" Chris asked.

"I was thinking about shooting a few hoops" Oddie said. "Are you sure you dont want to, its a lot of fun" she asked him

"I have never been able to fly well, I prefer to stay on the ground." Chris said.

"Surely you would like to give it a try. It's not that hard. I'll let you try on my broom. It's more reliable then the schools" Oddie said holding out her broom. "I could give ya a lesson. If you feel uncomfortable then we can call off the lesson" Oddie added

"I guess I could try. There's a first for everything." Chris said.

"Well, thats good to hear that youll give it a try." Oddie said handing him the broom. "Now the first thing you want to do is swing your leg over the broom and ill correct your hand positions"

Chris grabbed the broom and swung his leg over, and waited to be instructed on other things.

After correcting his grip, Oddie stood in front of him and said "Now, when you feel comfortable just lighly kick off the ground. Try not to panick or you might fly up too high. A gentle push off the ground should be good enough" Oddie said as she took a few steps back to give Chris some move to take off.

Chris kicked the ground lightly and he flew up a few inches. "I'm flying, oh how cool." Chris said.

After seeing that Chris was able to control the broom Oddie decided to teach him how to move around. "hey Chris, Im going to get a broom and then Ill give you some pointers on flying." Holding up her wand she said "Accio school's brooms" and waited till one was right beside her hovering a few feet off the ground. Grabbing it, Oddie threw her leg over it and kicked hard off the ground. "Ok Chris, now what you want to do is lean forward to move stright ahead, but dont lean forwards too far or you might be moving a little too fast. Dont worry, Ill caught you if you fall" Oddie added as she got behind him. "Now to stop just try to lean back or just sit up slowly" Oddie added.

Chris tried what Oddie said and he moved up a little and stopped. "This is so cool." Chris said.
