i see no one has put this ship up and i think its one of the most interesting ones out there

I love this ship. Personally, I would only read fanfics on them if I could, but I havent really found many (and I get too distracted... but thats my ADHD for ya!) I think it is soooo sweet, how it all started, and so sad how it all ended. :/

I hate this ship! I really didn't like the fact that it became (one-sided at least), canon. Perhaps it's to do with me not really seeing Snape as someone who can love, but it just doesn't sit right with me.

I am very happy though that there was nothing in the canon to say that Lily recipricated the feelings!

i think it's good that because of snape's love for lily he protected harry but i personaly can't stand lily and snape being together because i like lily and james a lot better even though it seems that james was obnoxious he oobviously grew up!

when i read about the whole snape lilly thing i was crying for ages... sooooo sad. I think it would've worked if snape hadn't been soo into the dark arts...

I've grown to like them more, but I still don't like them together because Lily deserved someone who didn't call her a Mudblood or anyone else of her type of heritage.

Obviously they were friends when they were younger but I don't think that Lily ever loved him that way. I think it was more of a friendship for her. Hower snape defintily felt romantically about her but you need to people to have a relationship

I think the snape-lily thing was like forbiddin love soap opera drama thing. i liked it.

i love it.it made me cry but some how i knew i knew snape was good and he wouldnt let harry die because of something and then lily came to mind. I have no idea how she did but i cried for a whole 2 weeks because of it.and because he died he was one of my favorite characters and i was soooooo right about him

i think lilly loved snape but didnt think he loved her back so she went out with james, the one person he hated most, to make him jelous. Then she realised how happy she was making james. They were good frieds and she thought she would rather be with him, making him happy and her kinda happy than being alone. If that makes sense.

I'm writing a fan fic about this ship and that is basically the story line ^.^ but i asked the amazing Elana to make me a graphic for the fic and i thought i'd pot it here aswell.

James Potter was so arrogant when he was young; Lily had a right to be annoyed with him. It was pretty much an accident when Snape called her a mudblood, but because they were so close as friends, she felt really insulted by it and things were never the same between them. I felt bad for Snape. He had no one at that point.

[And of course who could forget the moment he died? When he looked into Harry's eyes searching for Lily's? That part nearly made me cry like there was no tomorrow.]
