Dorothy apparated to the little hangleton graveyard. She was waiting for Shadow to teleport there for their duel. Even though they were friends since for ever (not literaly), they decided to have a duel to see who was the better fighter.
She stamped her feet to get some feeling back into them, as her shoes were so old they were falling apart, letting all the cold air in. I really need some new shoes... Dorothy thought.

Shadow watched Dorothy appear from behind one of the gravestones. She smiled slightly as a prank idea came into her head.
"Welcome to the graveyard." She said before teleporting to another part of the graveyard.
"Welcome to my lair..." Shadow teleported again.
"I know how you got here..." Yet another part of the graveyard
"But will you get out again?"

"Holy Crapoly!" Dorothy mouthed.
She crept towards a gravestone and crouched behind it. The gravestone was close to a wall in a corner so she had protection from three sides. She looked out at the graveyard to see who it was but saw no-one. Why did we have to choose a graveyard to duel? She thought to herself.

Shadow smiled slightly as she heard Dorothy exclaim. As she watched the other girl hide herself, she decided to play one last prank before revealing herself. Teleporting silently behind Dorothy, she leant towards her.
"Boo."

"Yikes!" Dorothy cried, before coming to her senses.
"You! I should have known..." Dorothy backed away to somewhere where there would be more space. "Ready? 'Cos I am!" She exclaimed, before sending a stunning spell at Shadow.

Shadow raised an eyebrow, back flipping out of the way of Dorothy's stunning spell.
"You're supposed to bow to your opponent." She said teasingly, sending a bolt of her own magic at Dorothy.

Dorothy bowed mockingly, the magic passing above her head.
"Your turn to bow, Impedimenta!"

Shadow dived, rolling back onto her feet. Smiling slightly, she teleported behind Dorothy, taking her legs out from underneath her.

Dorothy fell to the ground, but rolled on her back and shot a silent disarming spell at her, laughing heartily at the attempt to catch her off guard. You always have to be on your guard around Shadow, Dorothy thought.

Shadow flew backwards, but got up again, shooting a bolt of magic at Dorothy.
"You should have realised by now Dorothy, I don't use a wand."

"Oh, sorry, my mistake!"
That was the fun thing about dueling with friends, Dorothy thought with a smile, You can chat to them while you curse them! Keeping her mind clear, she sent the leg-locker curse at Shadow, giving away no clue that she had sent a spell.
It also helps by knowing your friend's weakness. Dorothy thought, before apparating to another spot in the graveyard.

Shadow backflipped out of the way of the curse. Smiling, she teleported after Dorothy.

Dorothy saw her friend and smiled, sending a stunning spell at her, then another spell from another spot, then another, and another, untill Shadow was surrounded by spells homing in on her, even from above!

Shadow smiled.
"Synari Antetren Ilas!" She shouted, black magic flowing from her hands, forming a protective bubble around herself.

Dorothy sighed impatiently as the spells bounced off the black bubble now surrounding Shadow.
"What do I do?" She asked herself.
"Hmm..."
Dorothy apparated behind Shadow and sent an invisible hand out, pushing the bubble round and round, in an attempt to make her roll around.
