I'm new to this site
I've been looking around
and clicked on this new page here that I found.
A badge burrow, how cool how snazzy, how neat!
A fun way to spend time. It can't be beat.

I've looked to see the challenges for me
Hooray, woohoo, yeehaw, yippee!
I'll do what I can
To earn them all
even if it takes until next Fall!

I'm really glad I've found this site!
Finding people who are like me is such a delight!
Slytherin is where the Sorting Hat put me
I shall earn them many points for the silver and green
and become part of the sly dream team.

Essays, books and badges galore
for Slytherin, points, I shall score.
I best get started
there's lots to do
Perhaps I'll start by making witches brew?

I went to the badge burrow today
And then I went " Hooray hooray"
'cause now I want to sit and stay
In the badge burrow I want to Play.
But theres only one way to get my way...

Its something I do in school.
And to most its really uncool.
My Friends would think I'm a fooooooooooooooool
But on HE its really coool.
To write a poem while I'm not making any drool.

Write it in a very short time.
And write daft things in order to rhyme.
While all the time I'm feelin' fine.
The times 2 hours and a minute past nine
And these words come out of my mind

Its time to be daft.
Its time to be fast
I don't want to be last...
to earn a badge.
My times off not doing this are past.

One more quarter
left in school.
It won't be Winter,
still, one class left
Rules!

In the mean time
I'll attend Hogwarts online
And earn my badges
After completing this rhyme.

This reminds me of Girl Scouts
from my days of old
When I sold cookies,
and earned pins of gold.

TJBW, student of Gryffindor,
I want to earn points
earning badge after badge
so that I won't be bored!

I am a Hufflepuff
and it seems to be tough
entering the Badge Burrow
is not a so-so
Think, type, delete
that's what I did

But to top this thing
you need some thinking
and to be a member
there's a certain point to remember
to write a poem 'bout the Badge Burrow

When I'm done with rhyming
even though it's not my thing
I'll have a badge
and earning more badge
Is next on my list

Earning points
Needs some working joints
So when I enter the common room
Everyone is rejoicing and think I'm cool
For I am a proud Hufflepuff
who has finished this difficult stuff.

Once upon a time,
I met a funny lad.
I wish he hadn't rhyme.
At once I could tell this place would be rad.
Though there would be hardships I would climb.

The name of the school was Hogwarts.
Full of mystery and magic.
Almost prettier than a quarts.
To leave, would be tragic.
I wouldn't even mind doing the reports.

Hufflepuff is my house.
Which was never really a surprise.
Never call my mascot a mouse!
We are actually quite wise.
Never daydreaming you'll never have to rouse.

Badge Burrow is where I'll win,
House Points for my kin.
Though I don't know where to begin,
I'm sure it'll start on a whim.
And sadly this is fin.



Did I ever mention how sucky I am at rhyming?

Whilst poetry is not my stregnth;
I must rack my brains.
For deep within its confines
lies the answer to my quest,
or at least something that will pass, me thinks.

When the title first I saw,
"The Burrow" brought forth
much laughter and joy.
I thought, "YEA! I get to hang with the twins!"
And then dropped my jaw.

Alas, this wasn't meant to be.
For now I realize that my quest
has only just begun.
So now I will work and beg.
Through sweat, tears and creativity.

I will earn Slytherin points!
I will make my snakes proud!
I will earn the title of Slytherin Hottie!
Or, well, at least I can work towards some Badges.
Onward to the points!

But I suppose it could be annoying after a time
Nevertheless write on wordsmith
Manipulate the word force like a Sith.

This badge is first for a reason
In time it may reveal
Each goal has a season
As the webs congeal
Into frameworks of memes
That insight soon gleams.

Though I know not the way
I'll not leave nor delay
Cause to get my first bad give sme glee!!

Win those badges of glory
Grand badges of merit
All on my own -- no lifeline nor parrot
This first badge I DO care for it!

Almost at the finish line
Can't wait to get started
Those daggers I darted
With this first badge I feel so sublime!

Will these words do the trick
I fret and I fry
I wimper and sigh
I can taste that first one

When I searched the net
I found this place, and just kept
Hanging around here till one day
I spotted 'badge burrow', yay oh yay!
It was such a great time
Till I found I had to write a rhyme

I tried to get the computer badge
Then I did find that I had
Been mistaken, and had to make
The Member Badge as the first one to take
When it said 'poem' my heart did sink
But it was not quite as I hard as I did think

(though still hard)

Though I'm finding difficult to write this poem
For this badge, cause those poems up there them
Sound rather good, but mine just looks
Like a bunch of words, trod on by chooks
But at least, I think, it'll turn out OK
Even though it'll be hard to say

Alas, this is the final verse
Of the poem, oh curse
Cause I could have gone on, and bored you all
And had you hitting you head against the wall
My poem's half good, and at least I did try
to get this badge, so... bye!
