Natalie stood outside the portrait of the moaning moonstone witch with a forlorned expression on her face. She kept glancing at her watch. She was waiting on her friend Holly, one of her Gryffindor friends.

"Where is she?" Natalie exclaimed impatiently.

Shadow appeared in the shadows of the room and looked around.
"I seriously need to work on my teleportation." She muttered to herself. She spotted Natalie, and spoke a bit louder.
"Can you tell me where I am?"

Having just walked past the happenings, Holly heard Shadow speak.

"Umm hi, did you want to know where you were? Well this is the fourth floor, aaand um this is the moaning moonstone portrait," she turned to her Angel (Angel's were guardians in the shape of an animal) "We are on the fourth floor, right George? I havent been paying attention at all! My feet have just been taking me wherever!"

George the black spider-monkey sighed.

"Yes Holly," he said and rolled his eyes, "Sorry about her," he added to Shadow.

"Yeah, we are," said Natalie, greatful that Holly had finally arrived.

"Munkshood," she said to the portait, which swung open.

"Shall we go in?" she ask the girls.

"I'm in!" Holly said, and George nodded in agreement.
"Let's go, um, you want to come....Shadow is it?"

"Yeah, what do ya say, Shad?" Natalie asked.

"I'm kinda trying to get my teleportation back on track. When I appeared here, I was supposed to be in the dungeons..." Shadow replied.

"Oh, ok then.....good luck with your telaport-.....hang on, I though you couldn't apparate in Hogwarts grounds, or is it something to do with the fact that you're part demon?" said Natalie in a conversational tone.

"Teleportation isn't apparation." Shadow said.

"Ahh ok," said Natalie, "so is it only part-demons that can do it?"

"Part and whole demons, although there are certain spells that you can use." Shadow said.

"Cool," said Natalie, "but I think I'll wait until I learn to apparate."

"I can't get the hang of it, and since I could teleport, I gave up." Shadow said, smiling slightly.

"Maybe you couldn't get the hang of it because you can teleport....maybe it has something to do with the fact that your part-demon....and that might make it hard for you to apparate," said Natalie, shrugging.

"You never know." Shadow replied.
